In such a fascinating place and with its extraordinary historical value and invaluable landscape significance; the project aims to make possible relaxation and wellness stays which are centralized around the historical cuisine of the environment. Hotel offers a different experience to its visitors through traditional cuisine and it targets a niche based on a nature & food.
The Lighthouse of the Murro di Porco is the only human component that is underlined by the architecture in centuries. And the new architectural presence of the hotel is formed around its uniqueness. The Lighthouse of the Murro di Porco becomes the new hotel’s threshold gate and the architectural volumes of the hotel line up in a single direction following of this threshold.
Hotels’ main buildings such as common space and multi-functional hall are formed at the two sides of the lighthouse. Thus, two narrow slits arises between new architectural forms and historical Lighthouse of the Murro di Porco. Hotel welcomes the visitors through narrow slits that open directly to the SKY, ROCK, and SEA.
Main circulation network of the hotel is the two lines of path that follows the welcoming slits. These lines make the Lighthouse of the Murro di Porco a center & symmetry point of the new hotel.
Paths begin with new & old architecture, continuous in a wild landscape and ends with extraordinary view.
Path continuous next to architectural boxes that are settled up gently on to the wild landscape and they line up consecutively at the outer sides of the circulation path. Boxes present places to the different activities such as eating, cooking, relaxing, shopping, and working.
Path ends with a spectacular viewing terrace and a panoramic elevator takes visitors to the pier and grotto restaurant in the cliffs.
A different path in another direction lies on a certain level and connects 12 rooms of the hotel that are scattered around on the cliffs. Hotel consists of 3 types of rooms directly opens to the extraordinary views and nature. 2 of the rooms are named as Head Chef, 4 of them are named as Sous Chef and the others named as Zero. Head Chef and Sous Chef include a professional kitchen space to present a dream-like stay for food enthusiastics.
In addition; 3 different types of restaurants serve in the hotel in different concepts. One is Grotto Restaurant in the cliffs, one is Sunset Restaurant edge of the cliffs with an infinity pool, and other is The Mercado with historical lighthouse extension.
